Na Fakulteti za naravoslovje in matematiko Univerze v Mariboru (FNM UM) smo 9. aprila 2025 gostili projektne partnerje v okviru programa Interreg IPA ADRION in projekta Adrisky – Spodbujanje zmanjševanja svetlobnega onesnaževanja za ohranjanje biotske raznovrstnosti in nočnih habitatov v jadransko-jonski regiji. Med srečanjem so partnerji predstavili trenutno stanje projektnih aktivnosti. Vodja projekta na FNM UM, doc. dr. Eva Klemenčič, je predstavila pripravljene smernice za zbiranje in analizo podatkov o svetlobnem onesnaženju, ki bodo ključne za nadaljnje delo na projektu.
Projektno srečanje smo naslednji dan, 10. aprila 2025, nadaljevali z mednarodno konferenco “Dark Skies, Thriving Lives: Addressing Light Pollution’s Impact on Wildlife, Biodiversity, and Human Health”. Konferenca je povezala mednarodne strokovnjake in raziskovalce, ki so predstavili aktualne izzive in rešitve s področja svetlobnega onesnaženja ter njegovih vplivov na okolje.

On April 9, 2025, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Maribor hosted project partners within the Interreg IPA ADRION project Adrisky – Advancing Light Pollution Mitigation for Biodiversity and Nocturnal Habitats Conservation in the Adriatic-Ionian Region. During the meeting, partners presented the current status of project activities. The project leader at FNM UM, asst. prof. dr. Eva Klemenčič, presented the developed guidelines for data collection and analysis of light pollution, which will be essential for the project’s further progress.
The project meeting continued the following day, on April 10, 2025, with the international conference “Dark Skies, Thriving Lives: Addressing Light Pollution’s Impact on Wildlife, Biodiversity, and Human Health”. The conference brought together international experts and researchers who presented current challenges and solutions related to light pollution and its impact on the environment.
