The European Commission will set up a European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (the Cloud). Its goal is to create digital infrastructures, tools and services to tackle the challenges for museum professionals and to fully seize the amazing opportunities linked to entering the digital age. It will interconnect all sizes and types of cultural heritage institutions to become successful players in the digital realm. €110 million until 2025 are earmarked in Horizon Europe for this initiative.
