Gradbeniki so izgradili muljaste poloje na razli\u010dnih mikro-vi&scaron;inah, jih utrdili z lesenimi palisadami in za\u010deli smo opazovati proces primarne sukcesije &#8211; naseljevanja in zamenjave vrst, ki smo ga spremljali osem let z vsakoletnim vzor\u010denjem (kartiranjem). Po pri\u010dakovanih se je sukcesija izkazala za deterministi\u010dno in na\u010drtovani habitati so se &#8211; skozi pionirske za\u010detne faze in glede na gradient mikro-vi&scaron;ine &#8211; razvili v polni meri. Ekolo&scaron;ki &quot;eksperiment&quot;, vreden 0,45 MIO &euro;, je torej uspel in znanstvena spoznanja so direktno prenosljiva na druga obmo\u010dja EU, saj gre za tri ogro\u017eene habitate EU, ki bodo v prihodnje izginjali &scaron;e hitreje zaradi dvigovanja morske gladine. V \u010dlanku je bila prvi\u010d dokazana podrobna zveza med razvojem habitatov obmorskih mokri&scaron;\u010d in mikro-nadmorsko vi&scaron;ino, saj nam je laserska tehnologija snemanja povr&scaron;ja (LIDAR ) omogo\u010dila natan\u010dne meritve mikro-vi&scaron;in (ve\u010d deset to\u010dk na m2).
