{"id":4565,"date":"2014-06-23T13:22:23","date_gmt":"2014-06-23T13:22:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/164.8.33.101\/index.php\/2014\/06\/23\/znanstveno-sodelovanje-z-novo-zelandijo\/"},"modified":"2014-06-23T13:22:23","modified_gmt":"2014-06-23T13:22:23","slug":"znanstveno-sodelovanje-z-novo-zelandijo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fnm.um.si\/index.php\/2014\/06\/23\/znanstveno-sodelovanje-z-novo-zelandijo\/","title":{"rendered":"Znanstveno sodelovanje z Novo Zelandijo"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\tNew Zealand has strong cooperation with the EU in the science and innovation spheres, for which the New Zealand-European Union Science and Technology Cooperation Agreement (STCA) provides a framework for co-operation, including with EU Member States.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\tNew Zealand and the EU also have regular Joint Science and Technology Cooperation Committee (JSTCC) meetings &ndash; approximately every two years. &nbsp;The next JSTCC will be held in Wellington in December 2014.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\tFor bilateral science contact and cooperation between Slovenia and NZ, we would suggest institution-to-institution contact. There are 7 Crown Research Institutes &ndash; see link for information: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msi.govt.nz\/get-connected\/crown-research-institutes\/\">http:\/\/www.msi.govt.nz\/get-connected\/crown-research-institutes\/<\/a>as well as eight universities &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.universitiesnz.ac.nz\/nz-university-system\">http:\/\/www.universitiesnz.ac.nz\/nz-university-system<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\tJust as EU research is focused on addressing seven Societal challenges, the New Zealand Government is committed to supporting research to address 10 National Science Challenges &ndash; see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msi.govt.nz\/update-me\/major-projects\/national-science-challenges\/\">http:\/\/www.msi.govt.nz\/update-me\/major-projects\/national-science-challenges\/<\/a>. &nbsp;These are the areas in which new Government investment in research will be directed over the foreseeable future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Zealand has strong cooperation with the EU in the science and innovation spheres, for which the New Zealand-European Union Science and Technology Cooperation Agreement (STCA) provides a framework for co-operation, including with EU Member States.
