V decembru (13.12-15.12.2019) je Oddelek za fiziko FNM v sodelovanju z Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam soorganiziral mednarodno konferenco \u00bbInternational Conference on Liquid Crystals, Liquid Crystalline Polymers and Nanosystems\u00ab v Kottayamu v Indiji (http:\/\/www.liquidcrystalline.macromol.in\/). Vodja (chair) konference je bil prof. dr. Sabu Thomas, rektor Mahatma Gandhi University, ki je med tridesetimi najbolje citiranimi raziskovalci iz Indije. So-vodja (co-chair) je bil prof. dr. Samo Kralj z Oddelka za fiziko FNM. Na konferenco so bili povabljeni predvsem vodilni strokovnjaki s podro\u010dja okoljskih aplikacij mehkih nanokompozitov.\u00a0 Na sliki je podelitev priznanja mlademu raziskovalcu, ki ga je prejel mag. Sa\u0161a Harkai, za najbolj\u0161e predavanje\u00a0 v kategoriji doktorskih \u0161tudentov. Sa\u0161a Harkai je magistrant Oddelka za fiziko FNM in trenutno kon\u010duje doktorsko delo pod mentorstvom prof. dr. S. Kralja.<\/p>\n
