Statue UM (Article 310)<\/h3>\n

In accordance with Article 310 of the Statue UM \u2013 UPB11, the Academic Council is composed of all higher education teachers, scientific workers and higher education staff. Students’ representatives also participate in the work. \u00a0In addition to the Statue UM \u2013 UPB9, the composition, competences and modus operandi is defined with the Rules about the procedure for the design and operation of the Academic Council (Notifications UM, nr. XXII-1-2004, Notifications UM, nr. XXII-2-2007)<\/p>\n

Members of the Academic Council are also student representatives elected by Student Council of the faculty in such number that they form one fifth of the Academic Council. Student representatives participate in discussions and decision-making of issues concerning rights and duties of students and study programs and also participate in the candidate selection process for the Dean. Students can only be members of the Academic Council for one year.<\/p>\n
