Acting dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Maribor is prof. dr. Bla\u017e Zmazek. He has been appointed from 10th February 2021 until the appointment of the new Dean of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics of the University of Maribor, or until 9th February 2022 at the latest.<\/p>\n

Statue UM ( Article 330)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In accordance with the Statue of UM \u2013 UPB11, the dean of the university member is the administrative leader of that university member. The dean also has other authorizations and responsibilities that are stated in the Higher Education Law (Zakon o visokem \u0161olstvu ZViS-UPB\/, Ur. I. RS, nr. 32\/2012 with changes and replenishments by 57\/2012), Regulations on modifications of the University of Maribor (OdPUM-1, UR. I.RS, nr. 28\/2000 with changes and transformations by 96\/2009), this Statue and Acts of general application of the university. Additional tasks can be added by the Rektor of the University.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Deans<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In accordance with the Article 335 of the Statue UM \u2013 UPB11, every member of the University of Maribor has 4 deputy deans.<\/p>\n

The FNM UM Senate confirmed a new deputy deans for the period from 28.01.2020 to 27.01.2024.<\/p>\n

The functions of the deputy deans at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics are filled by:<\/p>\n

  • Deputy dean for Educational Activities: izr. prof. dr. Sonja \u0160kornik<\/li>\n
  • Deputy dean for Cooperation with the Economy, International Relations and Pedagogical Study Programs: izr. prof. dr. Robert Repnik<\/li>\n
